New Years Ride

A lot of motorcycle clubs will ride on New Years Day.  It’s a biker tradition.  Usually not very many people go on these rides.  Last year it was snowing.  My complaint is that they happen so early in the day.  How do these people get up and go out in the cold so early on New Years Day?  Don’t they party on New Years Eve?

Anyway, I did not make the New Years Ride again this year.  To you guys who did, I salute you!

Here’s Tom’s ride report for GCBMWC:

4 on bikes, Roads were clear and dry. A little on the cold side, the read out in the truck when Joni drove over to breakfast was 18. Jack Basham and myself road over to meet the Gold Wing riders at Quaker Steak and Lube. About 150 members there, they had the whole building! But only 8 bikes–BMW riders rule. For those that were not at Breakfast this did count at the January ride so no ride tomorrow. Look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting, Tom
