Vote For Funding For Suicide Prevention Hotline 281-CARE

One person dies of suicide every 15 minutes.  With 281-CARE, help is just a phone call away.  Many people who attempt suicide have never reached out to receive help, but 281-CARE is a simple, confidential resource for those in Cincinnati who are feeling depressed and scared.  through training and education, we can promote this needed service throughout the community.

Since 1970, this 24-hour suicide and crisis hotline service has been available to the community.  281-CARE is a 24-hour suicide/crisis hotline that is available to Cincinnati residents of any age. They assist callers through supportive listening and crisis/suicide intervention. 281-CARE is a part of Centerpoint Health, a comprehensive behavioral healthcare provider in Hamilton County, OH.

281-CARE has applied for a $50,000 grant from Pepsi Refresh to keep the program running.  You can vote for them here:  Vote today!  Vote every day!  And while you are there, vote for your 9 other favorite suggestions.  Pepsi Refresh is giving away a lot of money to support a lot of good ideas.
