Fog at Peaks of Otter

We got up at 7:00 am, got our showers, and sat on the patio with our coffee for a quick breakfast.  As we munched on our breakfast bars, we noticed the fog moving in.  Wow.  Very impressive.  It only took about 15 minutes for our lovely view to completely disappear into the mist.  In another 20 minutes, the fog was gone, and we could see well enough to get on the road.   It reminded me of yesterday, when Eric said “That’s not fog, that’s clouds.”  I believe it now.  This thick fog just floated through like a cloud floating across the sky.
